Snakes enjoy basking on the warm rocks and have occasionally been spotted on the trail. During the summer months, the hike can be quite hot and overwhelming. Be careful with your dog’s paws on the hot stones. Wildflowers bloom in the fall and winter months, providing a fantastic backdrop to jogs up the hill.
