Whitnell Bay
Whitnell Bay is located a short 20 minute drive from Karratha, and is a fantastic spot for launching your boat, snorkeling, relaxing on the beach and more. It is the beach right before the Burrup Jump up, and a popular spot for families to enjoy their afternoon.
To access Whitnell beach, you will need to drive off road so a four wheel or all wheel drive is recommended. If you are launching your boat, then be mindful of the tide times. The boat launch is on sand, so your car will get sandy and salty.
Boating, four wheel driving, snorkelling, swimming, and fishing are all populars activities on this area.
