Radio Hill Lookout
Radio Hill Lookout is a beautiful lookout at the top of a steep hill. When driving to the top, make sure that your car can handle the steep incline. Four-Wheel drives are a good idea. The Hill provides a fantastic lookout of the surrounding area and can be a great spot to hike up and get some exercise.
During the dry winter months, the area blooms with Pilbara wildflowers. Some of the specimens that can be found there include Tall Mulla Mulla, Sturts Desert Pea, Sand Hibiscus, Bush Acacia pyrifolia, and scented lemon grass, Cymbopogon ambiguus. Enjoy exploring the Karratha surroundings for some of the most stunning views of Western Australian Wildflowers. The Radio Hill Lookout provides a high vantage point to see the colourful blooms.
Please remember to stay respectful in the Pilbara. There are not any facilities in this area, so please take your trash with you. Leave nothing but footprints and take nothing but photographs. The Radio Hill Lookout is a great spot along the way to explore Millstream Chichester National Park. The National park is a popular spot four tourists to see fresh water holes, impressive rocky cliffs, and the stark beauty of the Pilbara.
