Millstream Chichester Walking Trails
per person
Hiking in the millstream Chichester national park is a popular activity during the cooler winter months from April to October. During midday, the temperatures can still rise to 30 degrees so it is always vital to bring sufficient water. A good rule of thumb is two liters for every two hours or 4 km.
The Millstream Chichester Walking Trails
There are four separate walks that you can do, each of varying length and difficulty. Keep in mind the time of day and year when choosing your walk, and make sure you have let someone know where you are.

On your bush walks you will be greeted by the breathtaking Chichester ranges that feature impressive r d rock cliffs and unique habitats. the hardy plants that have colonized th harsh environment are spiky and hostile to protect themselves against wallabies and other fauna. Particularly near dusk or dawn, you may spot some wallabies or birds. Reptiles also sun themselves to gain energy before the hottest part of the day. When walking, keep your eyes sharp for snakes as many species in the Pilbara region are extremely venomous. Summertime also attracts an abundance of flies, so fly nets can be a great idea.
There are no facilities anywhere on the Millstream Chichester Walking Trails, apart from the parking lot at Python Pool. For this reason, please take all the rubbish that you bring with you. That way, we can leave Millstream Chichester park looking beautiful.
